15 New Businesses Filed Flower Mound Sales-Tax Permits, with Openings Staggered from Now Through December
The state's permit database just handed you a shopping and dining calendar for the next two months.

If you've been eyeing vacant suites along Long Prairie Road or wondering what's next at Parker Square, the Texas Comptroller's public permit database just answered a lot of those questions at once.
Fifteen businesses filed Flower Mound sales-tax permits with first-sales dates running from late September through December 1, according to the state's Active Sales Tax Permit Holders dataset at data.texas.gov. The full picture is wider than what's been covered so far.
The most concrete dates on the list:
- Arroyo's Tex-Mex at Parker Square filed for a license on September 16. Parker Square is Flower Mound's walkable town center off Cross Timbers Road, so a new Tex-Mex spot there is worth a drive over.
- Kindled & Curated, a specialty retailer, filed with an October 30 first-sales date.
- Hammer & Nails, the men's grooming franchise, filed November 1 as its first day of sales at 5801 Long Prairie Road, Suite 120. The brand describes a luxury, full-service grooming and barber shop experience, and its site still lists hours as coming soon — check hammerandnailsgrooming.com before your first visit. Worth knowing: the TDLR construction permit for the location lists a target completion of December 31, 2026, so confirm the shop is open before you head over.
- Crown & Sole, a footwear shop, filed November 3.
- Hampton Inn & Suites, at 800 Long Prairie Road, filed November 10. Flower Mound has limited hotel inventory, and a Hilton-branded property on Long Prairie adds real capacity for visiting families and out-of-town guests heading into the holidays.
- Miracle Millets, at 617 Sandy Lane, filed December 1 — the furthest-out date on the list.
Two TABC alcohol licenses also filed in late September, though the Comptroller dataset doesn't link those directly to named storefronts in the permit data.

A quick word on what these permits actually mean. A Texas sales-tax permit is filed with the Comptroller before a business begins collecting sales tax. It's a real legal step, not a press release. Delays happen, though they're uncommon once the filing is in. Treat the dates as targets, not hard launches, and verify hours and operations directly with each business as those dates arrive.
