Argyle ISD Closes All Week October 12–16 for Fall Break
Students are out the whole week; teachers are in Thursday and Friday — which is exactly when you want to catch them.
If your kids are in Argyle ISD, clear the childcare calendar now: no school Monday through Friday, October 12–16.
The week splits into two different kinds of closure, and the difference is worth knowing. October 12–14, campuses are shut down for everyone — no staff, no students. Then October 15 and 16 are student holidays, but teachers are on campus for professional development and parent conferences. Thursday and Friday, your child stays home; their teacher does not.
That's the window if you've been wanting a sit-down. Reach out to your campus soon. Those conference slots fill up.
Getting five minutes with a teacher before the next quarter starts — rather than after the first progress report arrives — is worth the email.
Five days without a school-day routine, whatever shape that takes in your house. Plan accordingly.
