Argyle ISD's Proof-of-Residence Deadline Is Coming Up Fast

If you moved into an Argyle ISD address this summer and haven't uploaded your proof of residence yet, the clock is running.

New registrations aren't approved until residency is verified. Miss the deadline and your student is in limbo right when staff are locking down rosters and schedules.

What counts as proof. Owners can submit a current electric bill or, if the first bill hasn't arrived yet, a warranty deed plus a connection notice. Renters need the lease and a current electric bill. If the bill isn't in your name, bring the lease plus the most recent bill in the landlord's name. Everything goes in as a PDF or a phone-scanned document. JPGs are not accepted.

One thing worth confirming before you upload: Argyle ISD uses GIS parcel data to assign campuses. Two houses on the same street can fall into different attendance zones. Check the district's interactive boundary map at argyleisd.com to confirm your campus assignment before you submit.

This deadline applies to new students only. Returning students who completed enrollment during the April window are already on file.

If something snags — wrong document format, a utility bill that hasn't arrived yet, questions about your specific situation — call the district office. Families living with another household inside district boundaries have a separate pathway through a Host Home Application and should reach out to the district directly.
