Bonchon Opens at 2450 Cross Timbers — Korean Fried Chicken Is Finally Here

Your Tuesday-night chicken run just got shorter. Bonchon opened at 2450 Cross Timbers Road, Suite 100 on March 11 and has been serving ever since — no drive to Addison required.

The restaurant took over the former Mod Pizza space. Hand-battered, double-fried chicken brushed with house sauces is the whole point of the menu: wings, boneless wings, bao buns, and potstickers. Sauce options run from Soy Garlic and Korean BBQ to Spicy, Yangnyeom, and Classic Crunch, so you can keep it crowd-friendly or turn up the heat.

Getting to opening day took some time. The franchisee began development in December 2024 and had initially aimed for a March 2025 launch, but the timeline kept shifting. At one point July 2025 was the target. A company representative issued a February 2026 update pointing back to March — and that one held. The space itself is 2,918 square feet, per documents filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. Bonchon runs more than 490 locations worldwide, with one other DFW outpost in Addison.

Hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Online ordering and delivery are available at bonchon.com.
