Community Field Day Moves to September
The heat won — Heritage Park gets a do-over when it's actually bearable outside.
If you had Heritage Park on your calendar for this morning, you can sleep in. The Town's Community Field Day & Summer Social has been called off due to the heat and pushed to a date in September.
The town cited excessive heat in making the call. The rescheduled event will be held at Heritage Park.
The day is built around Parks & Rec Month.
Confirmed details will be posted at flowermound.gov/events as September gets closer.
