Doggie Dive Is September 26 at the CAC

If your dog has been eyeing the CAC's outdoor water park all summer, September 26 is the day. Flower Mound Parks and Recreation hosts Doggie Dive from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the CAC Outdoor Water Park, 1200 Gerault Road. Come and go as you please — no set time slot required.

What's on offer: water park access, puppuccinos, treats, and a prize drawing. The ground rules are firm — humans stay dry. This is the dogs' pool time. Animal Services will verify current rabies vaccinations before any pup gets in, and the town provides treats and toys on-site, so leave personal ones at home.

Pre-registration is required for each dog. No day-of registration. Spots are limited, and previous years have filled up, so don't sit on it. Register through the town's Parks and Recreation system at flowermound.gov/112/Special-Events.

Woof-O-Ween at Hound Mound Dog Park follows on October 21 if your pup needs a second fall outing — costume contest, dry land, different vibe entirely. For now: wet nose, open water, September 26.
