If you've been driving past the old Café India spot on Flower Mound Road and wondering what's going in there, you have an answer. Dum N Grill is taking over 1121 Flower Mound Rd., Suite 590.
The restaurant bills itself as Indian fusion. The menu centers on authentic biryani, flame-grilled kebabs, and drinks built around traditional Indian flavors. Biryani, if you haven't had it, is a fragrant slow-cooked rice dish layered with marinated meat or vegetables and warm aromatic spices. Dum N Grill prepares theirs using the traditional dum method — sealed vessel, slow heat, steam and spice doing the work together. The kebabs go over an open flame, built for smokiness, juiciness, and balance.
