Elephant Lounge Is Taking Over 890 Parker Square

Elephant Lounge will take the place of Vieux Carré at 890 Parker Square Rd. The menu stretches across French, Italian, and other global cuisines — a broader range than the French-brasserie identity Vieux Carré carried at the same address.

The concept centers on mid-sized plates and craft snacks in a relaxed, elevated atmosphere. Wine-lounge pace more than full-service dinner house. Hours posted on the restaurant's site show Tuesday through Thursday 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday through Saturday 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Parker Square — Flower Mound's walkable town square, built around a historic gazebo and greenspace and lined with local restaurants, boutiques, salons, fitness studios, and professional services — has seen its share of dining turnover. Elephant Lounge is the first confirmed tenant name for this storefront since Vieux Carré closed. That's the part worth noting: it's a name, not a rumor.

No opening date has been announced. The city's economic development team flagged the business in late May.
