Fall Into Flower Mound Festival Is October 9–10 at the River Walk — Here's What to Know Before You Go

Block off the weekend now. The River Walk hosts the Fall Into Flower Mound Festival across two days — Friday, Oct. 9, and Saturday, Oct. 10 — and both days are free to attend.

Expect a hay maze, pumpkin photo garden, carnival games, vendor booths, live entertainment, and plenty more. The hay maze alone makes for a solid Friday-night detour. Kids can bounce on spooky inflatables and work the craft station; adults can relax with lawn games.

The parking situation. Flower Mound Police, Parks and Recreation staff, and the FMPD Citizen's Patrol will be directing traffic during the festival. Arriving early on Saturday, when the full-day crowd builds, is still the smart call.

Rain or shine. The festival is an outdoor event held regardless of weather conditions. Plan your footwear and layers accordingly. Mid-October in north Texas is breezy, but not yet predictable.
