Flower Mound Police Release Findings in Sunrise Circle Deaths

If you live near Sunrise Circle or knew the family, the questions from last week now have official answers.

Three people were found dead on September 23 inside a home in the 10700 block of Sunrise Circle. Two days later, Flower Mound Police released their findings.

The three residents of that address died as follows: one person, age 65, manner of death: suicide; one person, age 63, manner of death: homicide; and one person, age 27, manner of death: homicide. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner determined each died from a gunshot wound to the head.

Detectives believe the 65-year-old killed the other two residents before taking his own life. No suspects are outstanding. There is no known threat to the public.

Officers were dispatched to the home at approximately 10:43 a.m. on September 23 when coworkers could not account for two of the residents and relatives were unable to make contact with anyone inside. The Criminal Investigations Division is continuing to handle the case.

The Flower Mound Police Department has extended its condolences to everyone affected.
