If you've ever tried to book a visitor somewhere close to The Shops at Lakeside or the Long Prairie dining corridor and ended up sending them to Lewisville, that gap is closing.

A Hampton Inn & Suites has been under construction at 800 Long Prairie Road. The state permit record lists a project completion target of April 3, 2026, which puts the build-out phase, at minimum, behind us. The building rises four stories and includes a fully automatic fire sprinkler system.

Location does real work here. The address puts the hotel at the southeast quadrant of Long Prairie Road, steps from the retail and restaurant cluster that most locals treat as a de facto town center. Business travelers visiting companies along the FM 2499 and Long Prairie corridors get a mid-market branded option without a highway haul. Out-of-town family visiting LISD students or anyone coming in for nearby sports facilities gets a closer landing spot. Simple.

One thing to know before you send anyone there: the TDLR record is a construction permit, not an opening announcement. Confirm the actual status and any soft-open or grand-open date directly with the property or through the Town of Flower Mound's Development Services before you make a booking.
