Green Bird Opens on Long Prairie: Five Simulator Bays, a Full Bar, and Nachos

It's 103 degrees and someone in your group still wants to play golf. Good news.

Green Bird's new Flower Mound location sits at Suite 200 in the 5701 Long Prairie Rd. building, sharing a strip with Old Navy. Five simulator bays run TruGolf APOGEE hardware with access to more than 100 courses, including Pebble Beach, St. Andrews, and Pinehurst No. 2. Play a real round or just swing at things. Either works.

The food side covers nachos, tacos, sandwiches, flatbreads, wings, salads, and desserts, alongside a full cocktail list. The setup is built for a group, not a solo errand.

Founder Diego Chavez said it plainly when the project was announced: "The cool thing about Green Bird is we want to create it as a community. It's more than just golf."

Hours before you head out: Sunday noon to 8 p.m., closed Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 2–10 p.m., Thursday through Saturday noon to midnight. Members get simulator access around the clock, seven days a week, plus discounts. Non-members can book a bay at playgreenbird.com.
