Hudson House Is Coming to the Shops at Highland Village This Fall

If you've driven past the old Corner Bakery spot at the Shops at Highland Village and wondered what was going in there, now you know.

Hudson House, the East Coast-inspired concept from Dallas-based Vandelay Hospitality Group, is set to open at 3640 Justin Road, Suite 190, taking over the former Corner Bakery and Pilates studio space. The target opening is fall/winter 2026. Construction is moving, and a formal date is expected closer to opening.

Highland Village will be the 12th Hudson House location. The brand's existing 11 locations are spread across the Dallas-Fort Worth area — with outposts in Highland Park, Lakewood, Preston Hollow, Addison, Las Colinas, Fort Worth, Frisco, and West Village — along with a two-location footprint in Houston.

If you haven't been to one: the menu is built around a seafood raw bar, oysters, a lobster roll, sushi, coastal-inspired dishes, and a cheeseburger that has its own following. Key lime pie for dessert. The bar leans hard into a self-titled "World's Coldest Martini." It sits in that upscale-but-not-stuffy zone — the kind of place that works for a weeknight dinner and a Saturday happy hour equally well.

Expect the warm leather booths Hudson House is known for, a wraparound bar, a sit-down raw bar, and an outdoor patio designed to complement the neighborhood's pedestrian-friendly feel.

Construction is expected to wrap between July and November, which tracks with the fall/winter opening target.

For residents who've been driving to Addison or Las Colinas for this kind of meal, that trip gets shorter this winter.
