Northwest ISD Teachers Earn Statewide Recognition for Literacy and Language Arts

Most teaching awards live quietly on a classroom wall. This one travels a little farther.

The Texas Council of Teachers of English Language Arts recognized Northwest ISD educators with a top statewide honor for reading and language arts educators.

TCTELA has been the professional home for English language arts teachers across Texas since 1965, and its annual awards aren't handed out broadly.
