Salty Dawg Pet Salon Has an October 31 Target Date at the Highlands

If you've been driving to Grapevine or Frisco to get your dog groomed, that trip may have an expiration date.

Salty Dawg Pet Salon + Bakery is fitting out Suite 120 inside the Highlands at Flower Mound, and a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing now puts a construction-completion target of October 31, 2026 on the record.

Worth flagging: October 31 is a construction finish line, not an opening day.

Salty Dawg's model is full-service dog grooming in a transparent, fear-free setup — the grooming area is open to view, so owners can watch while they wait. A pet bakery carries responsibly sourced, human-grade treats alongside curated supplies.

The Highlands sits along Long Prairie Road, a stretch most residents hit several times a week. A grooming stop folds easily into a run that already includes groceries.

October 31 is the most specific date on record. Once the build-out closes, the next signal will be a staffing or soft-open announcement. FloMoBee will follow up when a real open date is set.
