The NISD Band Showcase Is Monday Night at the District Stadium

If you've got a kid in band — or you just enjoy watching a few hundred teenagers nail something they've spent an entire fall building — Monday night is your night.

The Northwest ISD Band Showcase is Monday, September 28, at NISD Stadium. Gates open at 6 p.m. Performances start at 7 p.m.

Three high school programs take the field: Byron Nelson's Bobcat Marching Band, Eaton's Eagle Marching Band, and Northwest's Texan Marching Band.

Northwest ISD offers band to all students in grades 6 through 12, where students learn instruments in the brass, woodwind, and percussion families and perform in concerts, parades, pep rallies, football games, and other community events throughout the year. The Showcase is the one night it all lands in the same place.

Proceeds from the event benefit band programs. Ticket pricing for the current event was not confirmed in district sources at time of publication, so check nisdtx.org for admission details before you head out.

NISD Stadium is the district's main facility. It's a full stadium, so bring a chair cushion if you want one and review the district's clear bag policy before you pack up.
