The SIM Fall Craft Fair Is October 3 — Vendor Spots Are $60 and Filling Fast

If you make things and sell them — jewelry, sewn goods, home décor, anything handmade — the Seniors in Motion program wants your application before spots run out.

The SIM Fall Craft Fair runs Saturday, Oct. 3, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Each booth space is $60 and gets you an 8-by-8-foot area, two chairs, and electricity on a first-come, first-served basis. Admission is free and open to the public. It's one of two craft fairs Seniors in Motion hosts each year.

Fifty-plus vendors fill the space with handmade goods: home décor, sewn items, jewelry, and more. Indoors matters in early October in north Texas. No wind, no surprise heat, no scramble for shade. Shoppers tend to linger.

Vendors must sell handmade art, crafts, gifts, jewelry, or similar goods. Applications are available to download or can be picked up at the courtesy desk at the Senior Center. Completed applications should be returned to the Senior Center as well.

For attendees, nothing to register. Just show up Oct. 3 between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.
