Three People Found Dead on Sunrise Circle; Police Say No Threat to Neighbors

Wednesday morning started with a welfare check. By midday, it had become a homicide investigation.

Family members called police after two residents of a home in the 10700 block of Sunrise Circle didn't show up for work and couldn't be reached. Officers arrived and found three people dead from apparent gunshot wounds inside.

All three are believed to be family members who lived together: a husband, wife, and adult son. The Flower Mound Police Department has identified the victims and is releasing names pending confirmation from the Tarrant County Medical Examiner. Investigators believe the husband shot and killed his wife and son before killing himself.

For anyone on Sunrise Circle or nearby: the situation is contained. The Flower Mound Police Department stated that the incident is believed to be isolated and poses no threat to residents of Flower Mound or the surrounding area.
