Tomorrow at 5:30: Free Teen Safety Training at Flower Mound Municipal Court
One hour, no cost: your teenager will learn distracted driving consequences and hands-only CPR.

If you have a teenager at home, Thursday evening is worth blocking off.
The October Teen Talk runs Thursday, Oct. 15, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Flower Mound Municipal Court, 4150 Kirkpatrick Ln. One hour. Free.
An EMS presenter will lead an interactive safety course covering distracted driving and speeding dangers, the long-term effects of crash injuries, and hands-only CPR. That last part matters. Hands-only CPR can keep someone alive until an ambulance arrives. Not a video and a quiz — hands-on.

The monthly Teen Talks bring together Lewisville Municipal Court and Lewisville-Flower Mound Youth Services to deliver sessions built around juveniles and the law. Each event features presentations, videos, and direct conversation with subject matter experts. October's topic hits at a useful moment — new drivers, fall schedules, more miles logged getting to school and practice.
What to do: Show up Thursday at 4150 Kirkpatrick Ln by 5:30 p.m. Check flowermound.gov for registration details or to confirm anything before you go.
