Wildflower Is Open at 1900 Long Prairie Road — Brunch, an Asian-Inspired Twist, and Mimosas in the Former Dix Café Space

If your Saturday morning routine has involved driving past the empty suite next to Chipotle on Long Prairie and wondering when something would move in, you can stop wondering. Wildflower Café is open.

The restaurant is at 1900 Long Prairie Rd., Suite 116 — the former Dix Café location — and pairs classic breakfast and lunch favorites with specialty Asian-inspired dishes. That address sat quiet after Dix Café closed, and the stretch between FM 2499 and the Kroger shopping center felt the gap.

The menu runs wider than the name suggests. Strawberry matcha pancakes, crab cakes benedict, chicken gochujang pasta, burgers. A full coffee bar anchors the drinks side, with mimosas, mocktails, and sparkling wine rounding things out. The room leans bright and floral — garden-themed, built with photos in mind.

Hours are Tuesday through Sunday, 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Closed Mondays. Worth locking in before you make the drive after a long weekend.

One early TripAdvisor reviewer flagged that parking gets tight after 10 a.m. when neighboring businesses open. Bring a group, come early. The suite is walkable from the Chipotle end of the center.
